Abdurahman Shweiki is a Jordanian artist, born in 1990 in Libya. Coming from a family that nurtured his
artistic inclinations, Abdurahman began painting at a young age and has continuously honed his skills
through self-study. He is proficient in multiple styles and techniques, adapting them to suit the subject
matter of his paintings.
Throughout his career, Abdurahman has actively participated in numerous exhibitions, both within and
outside Jordan. In his pursuit of artistic growth and knowledge, he has also attended various workshops,
which have helped him refine his skills and gain a deeper understanding of different art forms and art
history. Notably, his exceptional talent was recognized when he won the first-place award in the Doha
competition for realistic art in 2019, and the best artwork prize at Philadelphia University in 2018, also
gaining the art excellency award from Chinese embassy in Jordan in 2018.
In addition to his artistic endeavors, Abdurahman founded the Orchid Art Institute from 2017 to 2020,
where he facilitated the growth and development of aspiring artists. He also served as an art teacher for
three years and currently imparts his knowledge to beginners at his own studio.
